Your Glove. Your Identity. Your Team.

717 Sports Gear connects custom gloves, distinctive collections and team partnerships.

A glove has to work before it can make a statement. Fit, structure and feel matter through every practice and tournament weekend. But players also want equipment that reflects who they are. 717 Sports Gear brings those priorities together through custom baseball and softball gloves, recognizable collections and programs designed for teams.

For Ohio travel baseball families, that means a choice beyond buying whatever color happens to be on a shelf. Players can explore a design of their own, choose the visual direction of a collection or ask about opportunities available through their organization.

Built From Experience Around the Game

717 Sports Gear grows from the family-owned Arena Sports and Fanatic Graphix foundation established in 2002. Years of working with athletes, coaches, schools and organizations inform the brand’s focus on equipment and personal service. Owner Mike Resetar also brings high school baseball coaching experience to those conversations.

That background matters when a parent is choosing a glove for a growing player or a coach is coordinating an organization-wide order. Appearance is part of the decision, but so are position, sizing, budget and the season ahead. A thoughtful purchase starts with those needs.

Full Custom: Build Around Your Preferences

The interactive 3D Glove Builder lets players visualize available design choices on a rotating model. Depending on the selected glove, customers can explore leather options, colors, lacing, welting and personalized embroidery. Team colors, a name, a number or a meaningful detail can become part of the design.

The builder is a way to review how those choices work together before placing an order. Players should also check model specifications, throwing hand, personalization details and current production estimates. A custom look is most useful when it is paired with a glove suited to the player.

Collections With a Clear Personality

Voltage, Carbon and Nova give the brand three recognizable visual directions. Voltage uses bold contrast and electric accents. Carbon centers on black, graphite, gray and white for a restrained look. Nova brings pastel colors and softer combinations. Individual product listings show the available models, colorways and ordering status; a collection name alone does not indicate that every configuration is in stock

Choose for the Player. Plan for the Team.

A Faster Semi-Custom Path Is in Development

717 is developing NIGHTSHIFT and PHANTOM concepts around established glove designs. The intended approach is straightforward: retain the base design, choose an available contrast color and add personal embroidery such as a name, number or verse. This reduces the number of design decisions while preserving individual identity.

The program is intended to offer a shorter production path than a fully custom build. Product details, the final program name and delivery estimates will be announced with the release. Until then, customers should use current listings and direct communication to confirm what can be ordered.

Leather, Fit & Break-In Come First

717’s leather choices may include steerhide, Korean kip and Japanese kip, depending on the model and offering. Those choices should be considered alongside pattern, structure and the player’s preferences. The right decision is not simply the most expensive leather or the loudest color combination.

Youth and adult players have different needs, and fielders’ gloves, catcher’s mitts and first-base models serve different jobs. Review sizing and model availability, and ask for help if you are unsure. Allow time for delivery and break-in before expecting a new glove to become your primary game glove.

A Partnership Path for Coaches

Travel programs can approach 717 as an organization rather than as a collection of unrelated individual orders. Partner discussions can include preferred glove pricing, team thumb branding and coordination with merchandise, uniforms and gear.

A qualifying partner offer includes a 15% glove discount, free team branding on the thumb with a commitment to 24 or more glove purchases over 12 months, and a 5% rebate on eligible team merchandise, uniforms and gear. The agreement defines eligible purchases and the organization’s commitments, including promotion of 717 as a preferred glove partner and permission to use approved team branding in marketing.

Coaches should discuss the program before inviting families to order. That gives everyone a clear understanding of the commitment, available products and benefits. Individual Signature Athlete opportunities can be discussed separately from an organization’s purchasing arrangement.

One Brand Within a Broader Support Network

717 focuses on athlete equipment and glove partnerships. Fanatic Graphix supports uniforms, apparel and branding. Mike’s Vertical Raise work supports fundraising. Those services can complement one another while retaining separate orders, agreements and campaign arrangements.
